There I was waiting at Cafe Calabria (my go to spot for consultations), Sarah walked in and it was love at first sight. I knew instantly that I would not only be gaining a client but also a friend. She came to me with an open mind and said, “Brogen, what do we need to do to make the photographs of my wedding amazing, there must be advice you could contribute to make sure the day is flawless.” I responded and said, I do my best to make any wedding, venue, and any situation beautiful, but I can’t capture perfection if it’s not there, it’s all about the details and art direction.”
From that moment on we worked together to assure that every single detail of her wedding was literally… picture perfect. Sarah has a wicked set of vendors and has thought beyond the basic inspo that populates Pintrest. Her wedding will be at Brick, an all time favorite venue of mine! Since her wedding is going to be epic we decided that the Engagement session had to be as well! We decided to make a weekend trip to Palm Springs, Her, Ryan, my man and I. I’m ALWAYS willing to throw out the time limit of an engagement session when my couples want to collaborate, let me art direct, and make it an all day adventure session. So that was it, Sarah paroozed ASOS, Anthropologie, and Nasty Gal for the perfect outfits, I paroozed for the perfect hotels and the four of us headed to the desert. My man and I booked a room at the The Saugaro– we learned quickly that the Ace Hotel & Swim Club is where it’s at. Ryan and Sarah spent the entire day with us running around Palm Springs.
