Hotel Del Coronado never seizes to amaze me. I use to avoid it like the black plague because I thought it was too cliche. But the truth is, the more and more I go to do engagement sessions there, the more I fall in love with it’s moody features. Of course Layla, Morgan and I walked into the hotel like we were staying there. Confidence really does go a long way! We prowled around the top floor and awkwardly avoided eye contact with the employees. It’s funny how difficult being a photographer can be, so many hotels and areas have a no photography policy ( unless you’re a guest). ..so that day we were a “guest”! 😉 I adore couple who are willing to break rules with me. After all, EVERYTHING has already been created, in order to make your session different we either have to get really weird/creative, or break some rules! If it’s up to me, lets do both!
I’ve decided when I get married I want either a tear drop diamond or an emerald diamond… I mean, come on! Look at this thing, it’s the prettiest engagement ring i’ve seen.
